Dr. Reed is the passionate visionary of SPINE. His two decades of clinical experience have been characterized by several pioneering medical ventures emphasizing perioperative specialization, hands-on individualized treatment, active patient participation and quality assurance. He has a track record of successfully challenging the status quo and is recognized as a leader in the emerging field of perioperative spine care. Dr. Reed holds numerous professional credentials and titles, including Doctor of Physical Therapy and is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Specialist.

He has been in private practice in Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter, Florida since 1993, focusing his clinical and research efforts on perioperative spine care. He lectures nationally and internationally on disorders of the spine and has published many articles in peer reviewed journals. Dr. Reed is CEO, Chairman & Founder of Surgical Outcome Support, Inc., Biokinetex, LLC, Medical Concierge Concepts, LLC, and SPINE, LLC.

Dr. Reed is the founder of the Palm Beach Spine Foundation. He serves as Chairman of this charity organization which supports public education, local research efforts in the fields of non-operative and perioperative spine care, and patient advocacy. In addition, Dr. Reed is Chairman of the Continuing Medical Education Committee for the North American Spine Society (NASS), and is a member of the Program Committee and Professional Conduct & Ethics Committee for NASS.

Dr. Reed is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, National Association of Spine Specialists, Spine Arthroplasty Society, and World Spine Society. Finally, Dr. Reed has served as spine therapy consultant to the Florida Marlins and Montreal Expos Professional Baseball Organizations and a number of professional athletes from around the world.

L. Claudette Moore, LMT, NCBTMB

Claudette was born in Freeport, Grand Bahamas where she lived for eight years. She then immigrated to Palm Beach County where she attended both high school and college. Claudette was introduced to the field of physical therapy in high school where she developed an interest in working with patients. Following graduation, she became employed at North Palm Physical Therapy (NPPT). She was introduced to massage in 1985 and has spent the last 20 years developing her skills as a health care practitioner specializing in medical massage therapy.

In 1992 Claudette earned her certificate in Massage Therapy from the Academy of Healing Arts in Lake Worth, Florida. Upon graduating, she continued to work at NPPT as a Physical Therapy Technician and Massage Therapist. She practiced there for a total of 9 years specializing in the care of orthopedic patients with various musculoskeletal disorders.

In 1995, Claudette then gained employment at Aquatic and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The patient population included those with various spinal and general orthopedic conditions. Her principle responsibilities included spine-specific massage therapy and conditioning through high level pelvic stabilization exercises. In 1997, she gained her certification as a Water Fitness Instructor from The United States Water Fitness Association. Under the supervision of physical therapists, Claudette utilized the aquatic environment to enhance the functional strength and range of motion for a wide spectrum of patients. In addition, in 2002 she earned her National Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Body Work.

In 2000, Claudette gained employment at Sun Spectrum, more recently named Physiotherapy Associates, in Palm Beach Gardens. There, her responsibilities included assisting in physical therapy treatments and providing massage therapy services.

In 2005, Claudette became the director of the Massage Therapy Department at SPINE and earned her certification as a Perinatal Massage Therapist. Her skills include a range of therapeutic techniques including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, and Prenatal/Postpartum massage.

Claudette resides in Okeechobee County with her husband, Steven. She enjoys reading, crocheting, and baking.
