In his three years on the team, they won two Championship titles and several tournaments.
Toby relocated to south Florida in 1995 to pursue a career more in tune with his active lifestyle. As a testament to his love of the outdoors, he decided to hike the Appalachian Trail, from Georgia to Maine. After 18 months of training and preparation, he began the 2,156 mile journey in May of 2000. With a goal of completing his trip in four months, Toby reached Mt. Katadin on September 30, 17 weeks after starting.
In 2001 Toby began his career in the fitness industry when he earned his certification as a Pilates instructor from All-American Pilates. Since that time he has provided private lessons and group instruction to clients of various backgrounds and aspirations. Additionally in 2002, he earned his certification as a Personal Trainer and Kick Box instructor through the International Sports and Conditioning Association. Toby continued his education in 2003 as an Athletic Training major at Palm Beach Atlantic University and has decided to finish his studies in Physical Education and Exercise Science.
Toby has a background in the Martial Arts. He has studied and trained in Thai Chi and Kick Boxing. Currently he is training for his black belt in The Shaolin Kempo Buji System.
Toby resides in Palm Beach Gardens with his girlfriend Kelly, their son Landon, and their three dogs, Kaila, Daisy, and Dakota. In his free time you may find him mountain biking or rolling and surfing the waves in his kayak. And when he can, he enjoys snowboarding and paddling the whitewater.
