Comprehensive Movement & Performance Training:
Our continuum of care includes a strong emphasis on sustained health and well-being. Our wellness services encompass preventive conditioning, general fitness training, relaxing massage treatments, prenatal and postpartum care, and promotion of a vibrant lifestyle. Sessions are conducted on a one-on-one basis with a physical therapist, massage therapist, performance trainer, or in a group exercise setting.

Individual Sessions:
We offer a comprehensive 55 minute evaluation and wellness planning assessment before you begin your training. Follow-up exercise sessions are 55 minutes and will be based on your medical and functional goals. Each session may include individual hands-on flexibility training, Pilates exercise routines, or GYROTONIC® movement enhancement, or free weight exercises.

GYROTONIC®:
The fundamentals of the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® consists of a totally new exercise system, using GYROKINESIS® as its base. The uniqueness of the System is that it simultaneously stretches and strengthens the body with minimal effort, while increasing range of motion and developing coordination. GYROTONIC® is served by a series of specially designed exercise equipment built around the human body with consideration to total freedom in movement, and without restriction to speed and versatility. As a result, it enhances coordination, strength and agility. The GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® provides an individual with a greater degree of endurance, flexibility and gracefulness as a means of enhancing all competitive skills and movements.

Pilates:
In 1923, German-born Joseph H. Pilates brought his unique method of physical and mental conditioning to the United States. His study of yoga and the martial arts, and his work with physicians and his wife Clara (a nurse), led to the development of his conditioning system. More than 70 years later, his techniques became the cornerstone of the Pilates Method. In 1967, the movement took an explosive leap forward when Ron Fletcher moved to Los Angeles. Fletcher, a dancer, possessed deep knowledge of the method and added many of his own important contributions. In 1984, the Center for Sports Medicine at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital, San Francisco, began to use some Pilates' concepts to rehabilitate and condition dancers and athletes. Work at Saint Francis became recognized internationally, bringing it to the attention of mainstream health and fitness communities.

Specialty classes include Spine-Specific Pilates, which has been created specifically for those individuals with a spine condition.
